I've been planning to upgrade for a while now, but honestly, with an SSD and maxed out RAM my MacBook Pro (2,1) is still more than adequate. I am also one of the few people who seems to like a 17' laptop any more, and I am not terribly interested in shelling out for a new machine until I absolutely have to if it means downgrading to a 15' screen.
